Hmmmm....
I'm listening to my dad on hold with AT&T.
Sorry it's been so long since I last posted, but I have been really busy with exams for school and getting ready for my vacation to Florida where I will attend the Stringendo School for Strings summer camp!
Some recent Twilight activity- LICENSE PLATES! That's right folks; I know there are crazed fans out there but this one was a little to... close for me. Her (I hope it was a 'her') license plate read BELLA-2 which I thought was kinda awesome. (But you all know I'm Bella 2!) Ummm... When one of my vamp-a-be buddies went to the Twilight Convention: New Moon she arrived late! Yes, I can't believe it either but this is the truth. She arrived five minutes after Peter Facinelli left. You could not imagine how upset I was with her! Five minutes sooner and I could have had an autograph from Carlisle Cullen- the one and only. I've learned to let it go and forgive her for this regrettable mistake of tardiness.
In other news, my sister and cousin (both much older than I am) had a Twilight party in honor of the DVD release of New Moon. I was very excited to hear this news because I will soon be apart of their next event! Can anyone guess?.... Anyone? Well I'll give you a hint first; It arrives in theatres June 30th... Ok, You got me! We are going to see Eclipse together!!! (Cheer, applause, stare in awe) I know, it's not that big of a deal, but for me it is, so get over it.
In closing, (fancy huh?) I would like to mention that for the last day of school this year, I have decided to get a group of people together and make tie dye shirts for the awards ceremony. (I'll be sure to leave a Twilight mark some where on mine.) Ok, That's it. Time for bed!!!
Lots of Love-- Lell :)
p.s. New reading, good reading- Secrets of My Hollywood Life by Jen Calonita. I just finished the first book and am looking forward to getting the next book in this series Secrets of My Hollywood Life: On Location. Nothing 'bout vamps though. :)

Hello, My Name Is Schuyler Van Alen
Listening to Major Tom by Shiny Toy Guns. By the way, I found this band called Never Shout Never and I'm really into it right now. I'll post a link to their Youtube page.
Yesterday was a strange day. We had the math state testing and I decided to basically dress in all black. I had my lucky, comfortable, black jacket, a black tank, black leggings, and a skirt. I don't know what came over me but I felt like being her today- Schuyler. I also finished the second book of The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, Ninth Grade Slays by Heather Brewer. And the last paragraph of page 237 (chapter 20), my two favorite things were combined. The Killers and Vampires! The Paragraph is below:
"Greg turned on the radio. The Killers were on, singing a slow tune about how everything would be alright. Vlad leaned against the door and stared up at the stars, wishing against all odds that they were right." (Brewer, 237)
It just made my day! Ok, so the reason I like this series so much is because the author is a girl, but is writing from a boy's point of view. I have no clue why I'm so interested in that, but it really got to me. In the book, Vlad cries often and that also hits me hard (in a good way). So I'm off to bed. Testing is over! Good night.

Eighth Grade Bites- Summary or No Summary?
I have decided to stop my summaries of the Blue Bloods series so you'll have to read the books by your self.
I have recently finished the first book, Eighth Grade Bites by Heather Brewer, in The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. It was a good book that I would recommend to any young reader who likes vampire novels. It is told in third person, telling the views of others at times, just like Blue Bloods. I will not be posting a summary on this (at the moment) because I have to write a two page, in depth, English essay on this book; unless I change my mind in the future (and there is a good chance of that).
My mom surprised me when I got home from school today with a new book! The second instalment of the series above- Ninth Grade Slays. Also, to make my very joyful, I have received my invitation to the eighth grade dance! It is masquerade themed just like the after party in Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz. I love the whole idea of everyone not knowing who is who which will be a pain for the chaperons. It's very romantic and it makes me think of the scene in Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare where Beatrice knows it is Benedick behind his mask and is insulting him (making fun of him, not being mean.) and he doesn't have a clue who is behind her mask. I laugh every time I think about it!
To get to the Twilight part of my post- my sister and cousin had a New Moon party the other night where she watched Twilight and New Moon back to back with a whole bunch of junk food. The perfect girls night. My cousin was very upset at the fact that Bella took so long to get to Edward when he was about to reveal himself to everyone in Voltera. She was like, "I would've been screaming and pushing everyone out of the way. I'd say 'GET OUT OF THE WAY! i NEED TO SAVE MY MAN", and I kinda agree that the scene took a little longer than it should've.
Ok, I've got homework so I'm out. -- Lell

Catching Up on Every Day Twi-References
As you know I like to compare my life to the world of Twilight very often and have been neglecting to post here. I'm so sorry. Let's catch up on some things.
Last month: Teachers have been freaking me out with their knowledge about Twilight and how much my friends are picking up on this also. One of my friends made a joke about what my history teacher had said. It was pretty funny but I guess you had to be there. Here it goes any way! "Bella can stare a a wall for four months crying while you can stare at a wall for four seconds and start laughing!" It's not that funny but then again it was to me. A compliment on my good natured disposition. After that she made me a semi-poster of all things vampire (which I will post later.) .
Recently: I have finished The Van Alen Legacy and will be posting my summary on Revelations as well as the other book. Also, my English teach gave our class an assignment where we have to keep track of the books we read and why we read them. (See paragraph below.)
I have found a great new-ish series by heather Brewer called The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. Book one is called Eighth Grade Bites. As you can tell by the title, the main character is Vladimir Tod. An eighth grade vampire discovering his powers and how to control his thirst. He has been living with his Aunt Nelly for three years just after his parents combusted into ashes. He is half vampire though. His mother was human and his father a creature of the night. Vlad does not drink human blood directly (Aunt Nelly is a nurse and is very handy when Vlad needs some blood. He only takes donations from the hospital.) The only human he as ever bitten was his best friend Henry, when he was eight, and from then on he has been the only person's thought Vlad could read.
And that's just the begging. Pick up the book for yourself if you wish- it's a very good find. I'll post more often; as often as I can. -- Lell

Masquerade Summary Part 2
Most of you are aware that Jimmy Falon is a great talk show host for MSNBC and does a spoof of Robert Pattinson called Bothered. Here's the link to his newest video. Robert is Bothered by Valentine's Day- http://robertisbothered.com . And now back to my summary of Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz.
We left off with Schuyler and her dilemma of having Oliver as her familiar or not. She does. He becomes attached to her and now she's thinking she made a mistake. Schuyler becomes more involved with Jack which is really bugging Mimi. (Jack's immortal bonding partner; born as twins in this cycle.) She starts to get involved with the dark matter and summons a Silver Blood to take Schuyler. It fails and attacks Bliss and a few other Blue Bloods in the Repository. Mimi was found guilty for conjuring up the Silver Blood and gets sentenced to being burned with back fire- the only thing that can actually 'Kill' a Blue Blood.
Since Schyuler is the daughter if Allegra Van Allen (aka Archangel Gabriel) she should be able to do the blood trial and prove if Mimi is guilty or innocent. (The blood trial is where Allegra- in this case Schulyer- would drink the blood of the accused- Mimi Force- to find out the truth of the situation.) Schuyler goes to Italy with Lawerence (her grandfather) to do the blood trial and she turns out to prove Mimi innocent and that Kingsly was the one to actually summon the Silver Blood. Mimi had fainted from the incident and was unable to complete the ritual. We later find out that Kingsley is a reformed Silver Blood and was only acting on orders from the Regis (which is the leader of the Conclave- Charles Force.)
And that's it for Masquerade! Hope you enjoyed my summary even though it was quite bland. Sorry it took so long this time but I've been very distracted. --Lell

Masquerade Summary Part I
Dear Fellow Twilighters, Listening to Into the Ocean by Blue October..... wait, it's The Great Escape now, by Boys Like Girls.
My school's full orchestra (The Cinco Symphony) has been named 2010 Texas Music Educator's Association Honor Full Orchestra (T.M.E.A. for short)! This is a big event for us. It means that we are the BEST OF THE BEST full orchestra out of all of Texas. This is even bigger than the time our symphony visited Chicago for the Midwest Clinic last year. Also, my pre-AP English teacher told our class about this website called Shelfari. It's like the 'Facebook' of avid readers. I have my Shelfari bookshelf on My Vampire Venom now; just before the quotes.
To get to my main point now- VAMPIRES! I finished Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz last week and I'm ready to write my summary! ***SPOILER ALERT***
We left off in Venice, Italy, where Schuyler and Oliver are on the hunt for Lawrence Van Allen; Schuyler's grandfather. They eventually find him and convince him to help in the search for the Silver Bloods- Croatan. In the mean while between school and life, Schuyler is going to meetings about the 400 Ball (the induction ceremony for Blue Bloods, no humans aloud!) and Mimi Force (the antagonist) is planning the after party. A masquerade ball! Schuyler steals a secret kiss from who know which boy in her love triangle at the party and quickly returns home. Dylan starts acting up and suspicions arise as to if he's a Silver Blood or not. He ends up disappearing.
Bliss (Mimi's right hand girl, and Schuyler's new found friend) a Blue Blood from Texas, is experiencing difficulties in her transformation. Her Black outs are getting worse; on one occasion she ends up on the bottom of a lake and a mysterious new Blue Blood boy saves her. Is he Dylan? Anyone? Well we're getting there. He ends up to be Kingsly Martin, a reformed Silver Boll and venator (truth seeker in Italian). Mimi is taking an interest in dark matter and spells, with Kingsly as her guide, and Schuyler taking an interest in Jack Force, Mimi's human 'twin' and immortal bond partner. Mimi doesn't like this.
Schuyler goes into hibernation, not good, and Oliver takes her to Dr. Pat, the Blue Blood specialist (and his aunt), and she says that Schuyler's human bloods cells were being taking over by the Blue Blood cells and that she should take a human familiar soon. (A human familiar is the human a Blue Blood chooses as their main source to suck the blood out of; she picks Ollie.) The only problem, she thinks, is that her relationship with him will be ruined because preforming the 'Sacred Kiss' (the sucking of blood) makes a deep connection between vamp. and human familiar.
More next time; I'll keep you in suspence! --- Lell

Blue Bloods (and sorry)
Dear Fellow Twilighters,So Schuyler (pronounced sky-ler) is one of the main characters. She's discovering her awesome vampire powers as well as her true ancestry. When a Blue Blood from her high school shows up dead , which can never happen to one of them, Schuyler turns to her grand mother Cordelia for advice. She later finds out that there is a fallen hybrid race of vampires called Silver Bloods. Because they feast on the Blue Bloods, they are cursed forever with insanity. (Blue Bloods are one being, with the memories of their past lives, because the Silver Bloods consume them, they live as many people all at one time.) Croatan; abomination. This is the name given to the leader.
Cordelia is the only survivor (Blue Blood) of Plymouth and the colony Roanoke. She knows the truth because of her memories of her past life. Now Schuyler is the only person (with Oliver, her best friend) who can seek out the truth that no one else will believe. That Croatan exists.
Of course (and this should go with out saying) that all my reviews are in depth BUT I do leave out details because I want my readers to enjoy the book themselves. Thank you for your patience. --- Lell

Happy Birthday! (s)
Today is Stephenie Meyer's 36th birthday! Two days ago, sorry for being late, was Jackson Rathbone's 24th birthday, and tomorrow is Christmas! Wow, we're just having birthdays left and right now, aren't we? (I saw Avatar today and the main character, Jake Sully, had his birthday as well.) Well, if you're wondering how I'm getting all of this wonderful information then you're in luck! I have a super top secret (not) website full with accurate information on our most loved stars/vampires. The link follows this post. It's one of the "official" (I think) websites for each movie, up until a few months ago it was all about New Moon, and now, the site is all about Eclipse. The countdown/ new gadget is actually from this site. It offers a few accurate apps to post almost any where you want on the web, as well as tributes to fans and their creative sides. They have links to other fan sites and they also post fan made trailers and posters.
I'm off to celebrate the rest of Christmas Eve with my family. Happy Holidays! --Lell

Cool People Continued
As I'm rewatching SNL from last night I remembered some very serious details from the biology skit that needed to be pointed out. Planaria, the same subject in the movie, not the book, that Edward and Bella were studying, was on the board, Taylor was wearing a skirt and lip gloss, and that chocolate raspberry is a great flavor. (How do these actors stay still for so long?) I also agree to a certain extent that Bella's a little bit of a "whiny-do-nothing" (not Kristen) and that she doesn't deserve either of them, I do! (Not really though.)
For those reasons I nominate the writers of SNL for a Cool People Award presented by My Vampire Venom. (AHHHH! The crowd goes wild for SNL!) I thank all who support this decision!
Ok, I'm out. But before I sign off I would also like to nominate the director of the new Star Trek movie for the director of Breaking Dawn. That's my choice.

Cool People Where You Least Expect Them
Tonight on SNL, Taylor Lautner hosts! Finally, I was about to write MSNBC a letter about why they haven't had a Twilight star on yet to host! (True, ask my friends.)
It's been a while since my last post and I apologize for that. I go by Stephenie's beliefs, where you have to be in that writing state of mind and all. So, I've had recent chat *Cough, Cough* (email) with a very famous author. (I let you sweat this one out for a while before I tell you!)
Next week we have exams/mid terms. For reasons unknown (get it, For Reasons Unknown by The Killers!), well any way, my teachers have been absent for periodical days out of the week, and that's not cool for me. The upside of this was that I met a really awesome substitute teacher in English class. She is a Killers fan as well as a Twilight fan to my surprise. And that special author I was talking about, did you figure out his name yet? Well, he's a fan of both also!
His name is Chris D'Lacey and he writes children to teen books about dragons, football (soccer), global warming, and polar bears. I'll attach a link to his website and his blog. Actually, now that I think about it, his blog is what inspired me to make my blog! So, he went to go see New Moon with his wife (and the dragons, Chris will get this part) and he relatively liked the movie. I think, and I might be mistaken, but his wife has read the books, and although they are fans, Mr. D'Lacey isn't as in love with Edward and Bella as the rest of the world. Hrrr to Zookie (Gadzooks), Grettle, and David (I haven't read Dark Fire yet, but I know he's out there) and have a happy holiday season.

Seeing Stars
Now it might be crazy, but the other night was the first time I've ever had a dream about anything to do with my little escape called Twilight. You'd think that being myself, an obsessed Twilighter, that this wouldn't be so bazaar. Wrong. I was freaked out! I'm not going to go into details so you can forget that.
Stephenie Meyer has worked her series of engrossing, unfathomably beautiful, vampire books into our subconscious! It is in no way a bad experience; It makes you think. We are so enveloped in a make believe place with fantastic characters: it's just how we escape into another person's world for a while. I get a warm feeling inside when I hear about anything even slightly related to Mrs. Meyer's fantasy world. It seems that all of the actors from the Twilght cast are popping up on talk shows every where! Watching the cast on Jimmy Kimmel was like wow. They keep me in a daze, and my parents literally have to pry the remote out of my hand if they had the not-so-clever idea of changing the channel when I'm in a Twi-Trance.
So I'm very thankful for the DVR we've got for all the shows I miss because of school or extracurricular activities. On that note, I'll go and eat some baklava. Good Greek girls deserve good Greek desserts!

New Moon Premire Pains
Yesterday morning at 12:05 am, I went to see New Moon! My sister and I got to the theatre at 7:30pm and camped out in the 12:15am line for the 3rd screening of New Moon. I know what you're thinking, 12:15, I thought you went to the 12:05 one! Well, I'm getting to that. So any way, we were in line till about 9:00pm when this lady came up to us and asked if we would want to swap tickets with her because she bought two of the same tickets and one for a different showing and didn't want her family to be split apart. So being the nice and naive people we were, said sure, why not? So we switch spots, we were like, thirty people from the door for the 12:15 screening and inside the theatre. When we get to the other spot for the 12:05 screening we end up, like, 60th in line and outside in the cold!
My sister got really mad, like she was almost-turning-red mad, went up to the manager and said something like, my sister is sick and we're out side in the cold. Some lady conned us out of good spots in line and I don't want to start a fight! Is there anything you can do?, So I guess the manager got scared and didn't want a fight to break out, so he let us up closer in line to about the same spots we were before the switch. I felt mush better!
Ok, now time for the movie review. New Moon was really fantastic! I liked it very much even though I didn't appreciated that book in the saga as much as the rest. The action was great and the lovey parts were oh so cute! I cried once after Edward left Bella. I was torn apart! The CGI was great, but I thought the wolves looked a little thick around the mid section. As you all know, I'm a die hard Team Edward fan. That goes the same for my sis, she hasn't read the books yet. But, as hard as it is to admit, my sister and I, for like a split second, were rutting for Jacob.
What upset me the most was that A White Demon Love Song by The Killers was not in the movie! And if it was, I didn't catch it! I was singing along with all the other songs from the soundtrack except for that one! How disappointing.
Got to go,
Lell -xoxo- hope you enjoy the movie.

(Misc. Writing) With Old Age Comes...
http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/vampires/index.html There are some great vids. from E online about the actors. This is the link.
Listening to Regina Spektor right now, Eet.
As the days go by we all get older. It's just a fact of life no body can avoid (except maybe the Cullens and the pack), so why even try? For children this is one of the best parts of life, getting older. For adults, it's the worst part of life, wrinkles and grays and all. I have no idea why! From a teen's point of view, with a greater age comes greater responsibilities, but more privileges (sorry Spidey, I didn't mean to steal your thunder). If every breath you take kills you, (oxidising cells and all), than no amount of tonic or cream can stop that! That's the beauty of life! You cannot stop what's ment to be.
New Moon is 12 days, 5hrs. away and I'm still as giddy as I was when I bought my tickets. It's just that I think my view on Twilight is getting hazy. I know it's not because it's been a few months since I've read the saga. I don't feel as connected as I used to be to my fantasy world of vampire and werewolves. Hopefully I'll get over my little slump after the 20th: New Moon.
So, after me ranting about all this about how death is inevitable, are you ready to put up that $50 bottle of "Wrinkle Away" or hair dye? Probably not. Remember though, Edward loves girls that don't wear make up! So join the club. The beauty industry is already rich enough with out my help. Don't get me wrong though, I do wear make-up, but only for special occasions.
Tomorrow is my brother's birthday party. We're going to go bowling and lazer tagging and stuff like that with a few close friends.
WHOA! I just saw a VOLVO commercial with Edward in it! There is a site called http://whatdrivesedward.com! Wow, what a sell out. Seriously?!?!?!?
Wow... you think about that one. I'm out. Luv ya. Lell

The New Moon Content Widget Works!!!
I'm taking down the Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant trailer now since it has been out in theatre's since the 23rd of Oct. If you haven't seen it by now, then you're really missing out. Read the summary I wrote just a few days ago on it and you'll be hooked, although, I didn't do the movie or series any justice.
Just giving you guys a heads up. Lellabella

And if you haven't noticed, I uploaded a trailer for Cirque du Freak: The Vampire's Assistant. Don't you think the music sounds like something by the artist Likke Li? They are on the New Moon Soundtrack.
The trailers both start automatically. I can't get the Cirque du Freak to pause, so you'll have to pause the New Moon one and wait for the Cirque to finish.
