Hmmmm....

Dear Fellow Twilighters,

I'm listening to my dad on hold with AT&T.

Sorry it's been so long since I last posted, but I have been really busy with exams for school and getting ready for my vacation to Florida where I will attend the Stringendo School for Strings summer camp!

Some recent Twilight activity- LICENSE PLATES! That's right folks; I know there are crazed fans out there but this one was a little to... close for me. Her (I hope it was a 'her') license plate read BELLA-2 which I thought was kinda awesome. (But you all know I'm Bella 2!) Ummm... When one of my vamp-a-be buddies went to the Twilight Convention: New Moon she arrived late! Yes, I can't believe it either but this is the truth. She arrived five minutes after Peter Facinelli left. You could not imagine how upset I was with her! Five minutes sooner and I could have had an autograph from Carlisle Cullen- the one and only. I've learned to let it go and forgive her for this regrettable mistake of tardiness.

In other news, my sister and cousin (both much older than I am) had a Twilight party in honor of the DVD release of New Moon. I was very excited to hear this news because I will soon be apart of their next event! Can anyone guess?.... Anyone? Well I'll give you a hint first; It arrives in theatres June 30th... Ok, You got me! We are going to see Eclipse together!!! (Cheer, applause, stare in awe) I know, it's not that big of a deal, but for me it is, so get over it.

In closing, (fancy huh?) I would like to mention that for the last day of school this year, I have decided to get a group of people together and make tie dye shirts for the awards ceremony. (I'll be sure to leave a Twilight mark some where on mine.) Ok, That's it. Time for bed!!!

Lots of Love-- Lell :)

p.s. New reading, good reading- Secrets of My Hollywood Life by Jen Calonita. I just finished the first book and am looking forward to getting the next book in this series Secrets of My Hollywood Life: On Location. Nothing 'bout vamps though. :)

Hello, My Name Is Schuyler Van Alen

Dear Fellow Twilighters,

Listening to Major Tom by Shiny Toy Guns. By the way, I found this band called Never Shout Never and I'm really into it right now. I'll post a link to their Youtube page.

Yesterday was a strange day. We had the math state testing and I decided to basically dress in all black. I had my lucky, comfortable, black jacket, a black tank, black leggings, and a skirt. I don't know what came over me but I felt like being her today- Schuyler. I also finished the second book of The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod, Ninth Grade Slays by Heather Brewer. And the last paragraph of page 237 (chapter 20), my two favorite things were combined. The Killers and Vampires! The Paragraph is below:

"Greg turned on the radio. The Killers were on, singing a slow tune about how everything would be alright. Vlad leaned against the door and stared up at the stars, wishing against all odds that they were right." (Brewer, 237)

It just made my day! Ok, so the reason I like this series so much is because the author is a girl, but is writing from a boy's point of view. I have no clue why I'm so interested in that, but it really got to me. In the book, Vlad cries often and that also hits me hard (in a good way). So I'm off to bed. Testing is over! Good night.

Eighth Grade Bites- Summary or No Summary?

Dear Fellow Twilighters,

I have decided to stop my summaries of the Blue Bloods series so you'll have to read the books by your self.

I have recently finished the first book, Eighth Grade Bites by Heather Brewer, in The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. It was a good book that I would recommend to any young reader who likes vampire novels. It is told in third person, telling the views of others at times, just like Blue Bloods. I will not be posting a summary on this (at the moment) because I have to write a two page, in depth, English essay on this book; unless I change my mind in the future (and there is a good chance of that).

My mom surprised me when I got home from school today with a new book! The second instalment of the series above- Ninth Grade Slays. Also, to make my very joyful, I have received my invitation to the eighth grade dance! It is masquerade themed just like the after party in Masquerade by Melissa De La Cruz. I love the whole idea of everyone not knowing who is who which will be a pain for the chaperons. It's very romantic and it makes me think of the scene in Much Ado About Nothing by Shakespeare where Beatrice knows it is Benedick behind his mask and is insulting him (making fun of him, not being mean.) and he doesn't have a clue who is behind her mask. I laugh every time I think about it!

To get to the Twilight part of my post- my sister and cousin had a New Moon party the other night where she watched Twilight and New Moon back to back with a whole bunch of junk food. The perfect girls night. My cousin was very upset at the fact that Bella took so long to get to Edward when he was about to reveal himself to everyone in Voltera. She was like, "I would've been screaming and pushing everyone out of the way. I'd say 'GET OUT OF THE WAY! i NEED TO SAVE MY MAN", and I kinda agree that the scene took a little longer than it should've.

Ok, I've got homework so I'm out. -- Lell

Catching Up on Every Day Twi-References

Dear Fellow Twilighters,

As you know I like to compare my life to the world of Twilight very often and have been neglecting to post here. I'm so sorry. Let's catch up on some things.

Last month: Teachers have been freaking me out with their knowledge about Twilight and how much my friends are picking up on this also. One of my friends made a joke about what my history teacher had said. It was pretty funny but I guess you had to be there. Here it goes any way! "Bella can stare a a wall for four months crying while you can stare at a wall for four seconds and start laughing!" It's not that funny but then again it was to me. A compliment on my good natured disposition. After that she made me a semi-poster of all things vampire (which I will post later.) .

Recently: I have finished The Van Alen Legacy and will be posting my summary on Revelations as well as the other book. Also, my English teach gave our class an assignment where we have to keep track of the books we read and why we read them. (See paragraph below.)

I have found a great new-ish series by heather Brewer called The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod. Book one is called Eighth Grade Bites. As you can tell by the title, the main character is Vladimir Tod. An eighth grade vampire discovering his powers and how to control his thirst. He has been living with his Aunt Nelly for three years just after his parents combusted into ashes. He is half vampire though. His mother was human and his father a creature of the night. Vlad does not drink human blood directly (Aunt Nelly is a nurse and is very handy when Vlad needs some blood. He only takes donations from the hospital.) The only human he as ever bitten was his best friend Henry, when he was eight, and from then on he has been the only person's thought Vlad could read.

And that's just the begging. Pick up the book for yourself if you wish- it's a very good find. I'll post more often; as often as I can. -- Lell
