Seeing Stars

Dear Fellow Twilighters,

Now it might be crazy, but the other night was the first time I've ever had a dream about anything to do with my little escape called Twilight. You'd think that being myself, an obsessed Twilighter, that this wouldn't be so bazaar. Wrong. I was freaked out! I'm not going to go into details so you can forget that.

Stephenie Meyer has worked her series of engrossing, unfathomably beautiful, vampire books into our subconscious! It is in no way a bad experience; It makes you think. We are so enveloped in a make believe place with fantastic characters: it's just how we escape into another person's world for a while. I get a warm feeling inside when I hear about anything even slightly related to Mrs. Meyer's fantasy world. It seems that all of the actors from the Twilght cast are popping up on talk shows every where! Watching the cast on Jimmy Kimmel was like wow. They keep me in a daze, and my parents literally have to pry the remote out of my hand if they had the not-so-clever idea of changing the channel when I'm in a Twi-Trance.

So I'm very thankful for the DVR we've got for all the shows I miss because of school or extracurricular activities. On that note, I'll go and eat some baklava. Good Greek girls deserve good Greek desserts!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. Eat some extra turkey for me because I can't fit any more in my stomach! Keep your family at heart and a good book close by. I'm out for the night; going to see a movie with my family.

Twilight Spottings

(Mine, inspired by the letters on the cover of New Moon)
(My sister's, inspired by a vintage feel)
Dear Fellow Twilighters,

Here it is! Cullen Blvd. My family and I went down to Galveston to do some sight seeing. See, my sister came down for a visit and we wanted her to get a great experience before she went back to Florida. My dad had this crazy idea to pack five people (I was sick at the time) in a small car and drive an hour or so to go eat in a grungy little burger joint and walk the beach in fifty degree weather! Thanks to my wonderful, loving, and totally Twi-obsessed mother, we have this perfect picture of Cullen Blvd! Apparently Exit 44c.

Also, I posted the shirts my sister and I made for the premiere of New Moon. Mine starts with ...The Twilight Saga... and my sister's is just New Moon in curvy letters. If you look closely you'll see our hidden Team Edward logo! I know, they're totally awesome, but not for sale! Just fan made.
On that note, New Moon made $274.9 mill. world wide in the box office this week end, and $142.9 mill. in the US alone I believe. Ok, I just heard All These Things That I've Done by The Killers for a National Geographic commercial. How ironic, go figure!
That's it for today, have a great Sunday, and keep on reading. --Lell

New Moon Premire Pains

Dear Fellow Twilighters,

Yesterday morning at 12:05 am, I went to see New Moon! My sister and I got to the theatre at 7:30pm and camped out in the 12:15am line for the 3rd screening of New Moon. I know what you're thinking, 12:15, I thought you went to the 12:05 one! Well, I'm getting to that. So any way, we were in line till about 9:00pm when this lady came up to us and asked if we would want to swap tickets with her because she bought two of the same tickets and one for a different showing and didn't want her family to be split apart. So being the nice and naive people we were, said sure, why not? So we switch spots, we were like, thirty people from the door for the 12:15 screening and inside the theatre. When we get to the other spot for the 12:05 screening we end up, like, 60th in line and outside in the cold!

My sister got really mad, like she was almost-turning-red mad, went up to the manager and said something like, my sister is sick and we're out side in the cold. Some lady conned us out of good spots in line and I don't want to start a fight! Is there anything you can do?, So I guess the manager got scared and didn't want a fight to break out, so he let us up closer in line to about the same spots we were before the switch. I felt mush better!

Ok, now time for the movie review. New Moon was really fantastic! I liked it very much even though I didn't appreciated that book in the saga as much as the rest. The action was great and the lovey parts were oh so cute! I cried once after Edward left Bella. I was torn apart! The CGI was great, but I thought the wolves looked a little thick around the mid section. As you all know, I'm a die hard Team Edward fan. That goes the same for my sis, she hasn't read the books yet. But, as hard as it is to admit, my sister and I, for like a split second, were rutting for Jacob.

What upset me the most was that A White Demon Love Song by The Killers was not in the movie! And if it was, I didn't catch it! I was singing along with all the other songs from the soundtrack except for that one! How disappointing.

Got to go,
Lell -xoxo- hope you enjoy the movie.

(Misc. Writing) With Old Age Comes...

Dear Fellow Twilighters,

http://www.eonline.com/uberblog/vampires/index.html There are some great vids. from E online about the actors. This is the link.
Listening to Regina Spektor right now, Eet.

As the days go by we all get older. It's just a fact of life no body can avoid (except maybe the Cullens and the pack), so why even try? For children this is one of the best parts of life, getting older. For adults, it's the worst part of life, wrinkles and grays and all. I have no idea why! From a teen's point of view, with a greater age comes greater responsibilities, but more privileges (sorry Spidey, I didn't mean to steal your thunder). If every breath you take kills you, (oxidising cells and all), than no amount of tonic or cream can stop that! That's the beauty of life! You cannot stop what's ment to be.

New Moon is 12 days, 5hrs. away and I'm still as giddy as I was when I bought my tickets. It's just that I think my view on Twilight is getting hazy. I know it's not because it's been a few months since I've read the saga. I don't feel as connected as I used to be to my fantasy world of vampire and werewolves. Hopefully I'll get over my little slump after the 20th: New Moon.

So, after me ranting about all this about how death is inevitable, are you ready to put up that $50 bottle of "Wrinkle Away" or hair dye? Probably not. Remember though, Edward loves girls that don't wear make up! So join the club. The beauty industry is already rich enough with out my help. Don't get me wrong though, I do wear make-up, but only for special occasions.

Tomorrow is my brother's birthday party. We're going to go bowling and lazer tagging and stuff like that with a few close friends.

WHOA! I just saw a VOLVO commercial with Edward in it! There is a site called http://whatdrivesedward.com! Wow, what a sell out. Seriously?!?!?!?

Wow... you think about that one. I'm out. Luv ya. Lell
